The images below are of the Buttons, Lid and Crate that I have designed and textured in Blender and Substance Painter. I firstly used my UV maps for each part of the crate and exported out of Blender into Substance to begin texturing. Once in Substance I create some different folders for each type of colour I was going to add to the assets. I added what is called a mask to each texture, this allowed me to colour over the textures to make the models more detailed as shown in the picture. The type of mask I used was black (SOLID) as if I used white it wouldn't work because white is transparent. After the texture were completed I exported them out of Substance and into Blender ready for implementation in Unreal Engine. Overall I am pleased with the outcome and now feel confident to apply this knowledge further.
