In this blog post I will be showcasing what I have managed to do using construction script. Construction script allows me to easily swap out and change the components of a model without taking it apart and destroying it. This is super helpful and saves allot of time when constructing in Unreal Engine.
After watching and completing the YouTube tutorial I decide to use my old pillar from the pillar project to test this script. Below is a video of me using my model with the script.
As I mentioned in the video the script works perfectly when using the normal models like cubes and cylinders, but for some reason when I use my own models the script does not work. It is a shame that the script refuses to work with my models for some odd reason but the important thing is that I understand how this works and I am prepared to try it with my models for the Acropolis project.

This script was incredibly simple to follow and works great, I am looking forward to using this to place my banners around the Acropolis.
Overall the scripts work great and will be of much help when I start adding my work into Unreal Engine. The problem that I had with my pillar will hopefully get resolved when I use some other models of mine in the future.
